Responsible for management of all material procurement and logistics activities.
Lead materials procurement and logistics coordination while interfacing with local program management, warehousing personnel, contractors, suppliers, vendors, engineers, designers and corporate counterparts.
Develop all project specific process and procedure related to procurement and logistics.
Ability to manage a team of 15-20 procurement and logistics/warehousing professionals.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in concert with construction schedules.
Create Federally compliant descriptions for materials purchased in conjunction with project.
Manage creation of material requisitions from Engineering developed BOM’s through entire procurement cycle.
Ensure all procurements adhere to Federal procurement guidelines in practice and procedure.
Creation of advanced reporting devices to provide accurate and timely status of material procurement both physically and financially.
Creation of product data submittals.
Manage monthly and quarterly reporting inputs regarding material procurement budgets while commenting on procurement and logistics status.
Identify operational issues and resolve for progressive outcomes.
Develop space plans for material storage and identify facility needs.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Bachelor`s Degree
7 years related experience
Construction background a plus but not essential
